Oude Geuze Boon VAT Monoblend is made from Lambic drawn from a single oak barrel. Each Monoblend is labelled VAT followed by a number identifying that specific barrel or foeder at Boon Brewery, so the distinct qualities of the barrel come through. A little young Lambic is added to start refermentation in the bottle, giving a lively, smooth and complex beer.
