Innis & Gunn's The Original is a beer to savour, matured in single malt whisky casks for smoothness and depth. Vanilla, malt and toffee on the nose alongside a little orange marmalade and a touch of oak, with an understated bitterness. Good on its own, and a fine match for full-flavoured food such as seared steak, rich stews or cheese. Best served ice cold in an Innis & Gunn glass.
