A warm chestnut brown with red glints under a cream-beige head. Abbey yeast working with rye, wheat and roasted malts generates a complex bouquet of dark dried fruit: plums, dates, rum-soaked raisins and a hint of hazelnut. Dry and elegant, it leaves a wine-like impression. Made from brew water, barley malt, wheat malt, rye malt, dextrose, natural hops and yeast, with the sugar fermented out entirely during bottle conditioning in the traditional manner.
