Leffe Blonde is a golden Belgian abbey ale. A delicate smoked-bacon note on the nose combines with the more obvious caramel and toffee aromas that come from the special aromatic malts used. Those malts go through a particular kilning process, dried and cured at high temperature, which leaves high soluble sugar levels and gives Leffe its distinctive colour and aroma.
