Liefman's Kriek Brut

Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with up to 13 kilos of black cherries going into every hectolitre. It blends Oud Bruin with a pale beer aged on cherries, then matures for 18 months to draw out the full intensity of its flavour. Deep reddish-brown in the glass beneath a pale head, with wood and almond notes on the nose.
