You can earn vouchers by redeeming points, contributing to the community (reviews, photos, adding venues), or through special restaurant promotions. Keep an eye on your dashboard — vouchers can appear as rewards for your foodie activity!
How do I redeem a voucher?+

Welcome to the family! Everyone begins as a Rising Foodie (0–50 points). At this stage, you’re just getting your feet wet, exploring the scene, and finding your voice. It’s all about those first few reviews and starting to build your credibility within the community.
What are the different levels I can achieve?+
There are 8 tiers in total, and each one represents a step up in your influence. Once you pass 50 points, you become a Seasoned Foodie, where your opinions start to carry real weight. From there, you can climb through the Pro, Expert, and Elite ranks as your reviews become more regular and trusted. If you’re truly dedicated, you’ll reach the Master and Legendary levels—the true trendsetters—before finally reaching Foodie Royalty (351+ points).
How can I climb the ranks even faster?+
The pace is entirely in your hands! If you want to level up quickly, stay active by posting honest, detailed reviews and high-quality photos that help others decide where to eat. You can also earn points by being a "local hero"—adding new restaurants we haven’t discovered yet or updating venue amenities to keep the information fresh for everyone.

Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?+

Is there a way for someone to "game" the system or cheat to level up?+
We’ve put a lot of heart into making sure this is a fair and honest space for real foodies. Our system is built to reward authentic feedback only, and there are absolutely no shortcuts here. We use smart, behind-the-scenes verification and calculation measures to detect and prevent any fake activity, spam, or attempts to manipulate the points system. This ensures that every crown and every rank is 100% earned—never manufactured.

While every review is important, the feedback from a Master Foodie or Foodie Royalty carries more weight in our behind-the-scenes calculations for a restaurant’s overall rating. Can I gift Foodie Credits or vouchers to a friend?+
Currently, Foodie Credits and vouchers are tied to your personal account and cannot be transferred or gifted to another user. However, you can invite friends to join Restaurant Reviews and they will start earning their own rewards immediately. We are always exploring new features based on community feedback, so stay tuned for future updates!
Can I earn points from updating a previous review?+
Updating an existing review shows the community that you care about providing accurate, current information. While the exact points earned may vary depending on the nature of the update, meaningful updates such as adding new photos, expanding your description, or revising your rating after a return visit are recognised and rewarded. The more helpful and detailed your update, the more the community and platform value it.
Can I earn points just by checking in at a restaurant without writing a full review?+
Our points system is primarily designed to reward meaningful contributions that help other diners, such as reviews, photos, and venue updates. While simply checking in may not earn points on its own, even a short review with a photo after your visit counts as a valuable contribution and earns you points. What happens to my voucher if the participating restaurant closes before I use it?+
If a restaurant closes permanently before you can redeem a voucher, contact our support team via Help Center > Contact Us. We will review the situation and, where possible, restore your Foodie Credits or offer an alternative reward. We understand how frustrating this can be and are committed to ensuring your contributions are always fairly rewarded.
Can I transfer my Foodie Status if I need to create a new account?+
Foodie Status, points, and credits are tied to your account and cannot be manually transferred to a new one. We strongly recommend keeping a single account and contacting support if you have access issues rather than creating a new one. If there are exceptional circumstances (such as a verified account compromise), our support team can review your case and determine the best course of action.
